Cardinal Wiseman School in Coventry has made a double contribution to the Mass at which the Pope will celebrate at Baginton tomorrow. At the boys school woodwork teacher John Callaghan built the 5ft. high, 2ft. wide lectern in English elm. Stained black, it has a gold ceramic dove of peace fixed to it. Patrick Donovan, headmaster of the boys school, said: " we are very proud indeed that our school has taken part in the preparations." Our photograph shows Mr Callaghan and some of the boys who helpeed to make the lectern.
