As he hauled in his net filled with the day's catch of shrimps, he was surprised to find an unusual inhabitant among them - a venomous weaverfish. Morecambe Bay, with its vast tidal sands and rich marine life, is known for its diverse and abundant seafood, including shrimps and various shellfish. However, an encounter with a venomous weaverfish was an unexpected addition to Bob's daily routine. 3. The weaverfish, also known as Trachinotus weberi, is a rare and venomous species native to the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. These fish are characterized by their long, slender bodies and distinctive dorsal and anal fins, which resemble the weaving of a basket.
