Mrs Cecilia Bochenek (?-1981), founder of the Horder Centre, sitting in a room with a female resident who is showing her some pictures she has painted. Despite being crippled by arthritis and confined to a wheelchair herself, Mrs Bochenek and her friend, Dr Joyce Peake, set up the Horder recuperative home at Crowborough in East Sussex, specifically for people with arthritis. The centre was named after Lord Horder of Ashford who became the first President. Date: circa 1960s
