This photo of the Precinct is taken from the new Hotel Leofric, itself the scene of building activity, shows sites of development in the near future. the White Lion Hotel in the foreground will be demolished and between the new hotel and Marks & Spencer store(on right) a second link block of shops and offices will be built. In the background is The Woolworth Building still in progress and the old building beyond that will be demolished in the next phase which will include the building of a Co-operative store.
