Senses within the brain. 16th-century woodcut of a mans head in profile, showing his brain, with various parts named, including memory, cognition, fantasia, sensus. This artwork is from Aepitoma omnis phylosophiae (1504) by the German author Georg Reisch (c.1467-1525). This work is better known as Margarita philosophica and was first published in 1503
