They organised a sponsored three-legged walk to raise money for a special hearing device for 11-year-old Rachel Lockwood... but did so well they finished with more than double what they needed! So they decided to give the rest to the Examiner for the £ 500, 000 bodyscanner appeal. Rachel is pictured presenting a cheque for £ 897 to Examiner promotions executive, Paul Clark, watched by friends. 8th April 1987
